Chinese Steak (My way!)

So I don't know how authentic my Chinese steak is, but it sure does taste delicious and it is my own recipe! I hope you will enjoy this as much as I did. Next time I would like to add more spring onions to the sauce. I have adjusted the recipe below to factor in the extra spring onions. ENJOY and share with all your fellow Chinese-Beef lovers!

Ingredients:

2 T-Bone steaks (Or any beef fillet you prefer)
1/2 cup of chopped spring onions
1 tbsp butter
2 tbsp salt reduced soy sauce
1/2 tsp sesame oil
1/2 tsp minced garlic

Create:

Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius

Place butter in a heatproof bowl, pour over all ingredients and lightly mix together

Place heatproof bowl in the microwave and heat on high for about 30 seconds.

Remove mixture from the microwave and stir all ingredients together. You may need to place it back into the microwave if the butter has not melted. Once the butter is melted and all ingredients are mixed and form a  sauce, set aside.

Meanwhile, on high heat cook T-Bone steaks on a frying pan. I cook my steak medium as I like to finish them off in the oven. Cook either side for three minutes in some oil. Then transfer Steaks onto a baking tray and cover with the sauce and place in preheated oven. Cook for about 15 minutes - Once cooked, let the steak rest on a plate for 15 minutes so the juices don't run out of the meat.

Serve with anything you like, I chose snow-peas and sweet potato - Don't forget to pour all the sauce and juices in the frying pan on to your steak for EXTRA flavour!

ENJOY :)
